Boardroom Tables with Power

Power in the table, not across the floor

Boardroom tables with Volta pop-up power modules built into the surface, in High Gloss and Impulse finishes. The module drops flush into the top when it is not in use.

The problem it removes

Any meeting past the first hour involves laptops running low. Without power at the table, that means an extension lead from the wall across the floor, which is both untidy and the most common trip hazard in a meeting room.

A pop-up module puts sockets in the middle of the table and hides them again afterwards, so the room looks like a boardroom rather than a workshop.

Plan the supply before the table arrives

The module needs feeding from somewhere, which usually means a floor box beneath the table. That is a building decision with a lead time, not a furniture one, and discovering it on delivery day is the usual way this goes wrong.

Decide the table position first, then the floor box, then order.

Retrofitting instead

If the table is already in place, in-desk power modules can often be fitted to an existing top, though it means cutting the surface. Our cable management range covers the rest of the run.

For tables without power, see meeting and boardroom tables.
